A COUNSELLING service is holding a fund-raising evening to help cover the costs of its work.
Cruse Bereavement Service has 19 counsellors in the Burnley area plus other members of staff and can offer one to one meetings with people who have suffered loss of a loved one.
With no real base as such, the service, which covers Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale, does home visits which can quickly drain resources.
A fund-raising evening has been organised to recoup the costs this Saturday at the Burnley Worker's Support Club, in Abel Street.
The evening, which includes a disco and stalls, starts at 7.30pm.
