PUPILS from Derby High School saw their names in print after writing stories to celebrate multi-culturalism in Bury.
Year 11 students wrote about the experiences of parents and visitors of different ethnic backgrounds to the school and had their work published, with versions translated into Urdu and Chinese.
Pupils saw the fruits of their labours when chief education officer Harold Williams presented them with the bound versions.
He said: "The students who took part should be commended for engaging in this activity and for the high quality of the stories and books produced."
