THREE female financial assistants were threatened by armed thugs during a robbery in Prestwich on Friday (Nov 24).
The women, who all work for Thorn Mode Financial Services, were working at the Bury Old Road office at 6.30pm when three white men, all wearing balaclava masks and armed with a shotgun, baseball bat and a screw driver, entered and demanded money.
Around £2,000 in cash was taken by the robbers who fled on foot. None of the women was injured although all were shaken as a result of the incident.
Detectives from Whitefield CID are now appealing for any witnesses to the robbery to contact them on 0161 856 8248.
