Harry's stabel whispers

THE weather is causing a lot of problems for trainers all over the country, with gallops being wasted away.

So the all-weather tracks at Southwell, Wolverhampton and Lingfield are being used all the time by the trainers to keep their horse's race fit.

At Southwell, Dandy Nicholls, Les Eyre and Kevin Ryan regularly have been taking horses to Southwell to gallop.

Yesterday at Southwell, Nigel Tinkler and Kevin Ryan galloped Sugar Foot and Eastern Purple after racing in one of their final pieces of work before both horses fly off to Hong Kong where Sugar Foot is entered in the International Mile and Eastern Purple in the International Super Sprint where the prize money is worth over £500,000 for each race.

At Catterick tomorrow the Ferdy Murphy trained Ringside View will run a big race.

Also at Plumpton -- a couse where Martin Pipe has a great strike rate -- Gun'n Roses and Suvertica could bring off a double.

While on the all-weather, Tony Culhanes My Retreat should bring off a three timer at Wolverhampton.

At Market Rasen on Thusrday, Turgeoneu of Mick Hammond is reported to have improved pounds from the last run.

On Friday, at Sandown, the Mark Pitman trained Sheer Genius should see off the opposition.

On the same card, the Martin Pipe, Tony McCoy duo should see Blowing Wiind come home first in the 3.10.

My Saturday, has to be my old friend Fadaliko but beware with all the rain forecast for the week, a lot of horses don't act on the heavy ground. Have a good week.
