MORE than pride is at stake when Bury aim to overcome Conference side Northwich Victoria at The Field Mill tonight in the FA Cup first round replay.
Defeat would be a disaster in financial terms and almost the last straw for chairman Terry Robinson, who is battling to preserve the cash-strapped club and hopes a buyer -- who could be Chesterfield Chairman Norton Lea -- comes up with the goods soon.
Manager Andy Preece is only too well aware of the implications of not winning and will have his troops well motivated following the 1-1 draw at Gigg Lane.
Preece is likely to adopt a no nonsense approach, which could mean no place for the skills of Biachung Bhutia and Martyn Forrest.
Midfielder Darren Bullock, at one stage said to be interesting Wimbledon, is likely to return to a midfield and with assistant boss Steve Redmond serving a one match ban, Dean Barrick may well come into a back four.
Squad: Kenny, Unsworth, D Swailes, C Swailes, Barrick, Billy, Daws, Bullock, Reid, Barnes, Littlejohn, Preece, Collins, Jarrett, Forrest, Bhutia
