TRANMERE, Rovers' opponents on Saturday, were knocked out of the Worthington Cup on penalties by Crystal Palace.
And manager John Aldridge found the result hard to take, despite an impressive display from loan goalkeeper Thomas Myhre. "Palace only had a 10-minute spell out of the whole 120 minutes," he said.
"We dominated the rest of the match. It's hard to take, we deserved to win. We'll just have to pick ourselves up for Saturday at Ewood Park."
