ENTRY to an animal rescue Christmas fair in Burnley cost 50p -- or a tin of pet food.
The event at St Peter's School Hall was organised by Burnley Dog Rescue.
Also taking part were YELP, You Ensure Life for Pets, a group which looks after strays in the Pendle area, Blackburn Cat Rescue and Labrador and Springer Spaniel rescue groups.
Barbara Goodwill, welfare officer for Burnley Dog Rescue, said: "We raised about £350 and the other groups raised money for themselves. These charities don't receive any funding and without the generosity of the local people they couldn't survive."
A guess the name of the teddy bear competition was won by Gillian Balderson who chose Melvyn.
