BREWERY bosses at Blackburn-based Daniel Thwaites are toasting the success of one of their "brews".
Despite a slump in the premium lager market, Thwaites said its Warsteiner lager is bucking the trend with sales rising by more than a quarter.
Warsteiner national account manager Lee Williams (pictured) said: "Warsteiner is currently 28% up on last year's figures and rising. It is a fantastic achievement."
He added: "It is a very good time for Warsteiner and with the growing off-trade call for Warsteiner on the nations shelves, things can only get better."
