AN EAST Lancashire provider of e-business solutions has stepped in to help ease a business "headache" for a fast-growing health company.

Nelson-based elucid won the contract to supply vitamin and nutritional supplement supplier Healthspan with computer software support to cope with the pressures of dealing with up to 20,000 despatches a day.

The Guernsey health company did not have the capacity to cope with all the data involved in meeting its orders. elucid stepped in to provide a flexible and customised system which was integrated into Healthspan's existing database.

"We are absolutely delighted with the way that the system was personalised, developed and implemented," said Graham Case, Healthspan's deputy managing director.
