DISADVANTAGED families in Blackburn are set for a merrier Christmas this year after a town centre store donated a range of gifts.
As part of the Blackburn Partnership Employee Community Involvement Project's Christmas Challenge 2000 Campaign, Boots the chemist have collected various Christmas items, from bedding to other wrapped up presents, that will be given to children and families who use Blackburn's Women's Aid charity.
Boots have supported the local branch of this charity for the last three years by carrying out regular collections and making a cash donation from the store's charitable trust.
