POLICE have produced a new 'Cool Card' for young people in a bid to try and reduce crime and the fear of crime across the age groups.
The personal safety card, which has been issued to the Year Seven pupils at De La Salle School, Mill Brow, Eccleston, contains personal safety messages and gives advice on who to contact in certain situations, as well as emergency numbers.
The card and messages have been put together by the Crime Prevention Team in conjunction with Teresa Sims (Chair of the Crime Prevention Team), Merseyside Police, Merseyside Fire Brigade, St Helens Council's Youth Service, Eccleston and Windle Parish Community Project and De La Salle School.
