POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a robbery at the Lloyds TSB Bank in Hardshaw Street, St Helens on Wednesday, November 22.
A man, believed to be holding a firearm, entered the bank just after 3pm and threatened staff before walking out with a quantity of cash.
The robber is described as white, aged about 35 years, about 5ft 9in tall, with a slim build and dark-brown, collar-length hair. It's believed he was wearing a three-quarter length navy blue anorak and was carrying a Farmfoods carrier bag.
Lloyds TSB have stated that there may be a reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.
