REVIEW OF NETBALL LEAGUE MATCHES: After a dominating start from Sportlife, Heysham got it together in the third quarter, but unfortunately the deficit was too large to come back from.
However, their performance is improving each week. Player of the Match for Heysham High was their Centre, for Sportslife, Kate Catton.
The Brown Cow girls played an absolving blinder with only five players in the first quarter and only six players for the remainder of the match, finishing with a disappointing score. line.
The University didn't take full advantage of the situation. Joanne Kirkby was awarded Player for the Brown C"ow and Snowdon for the University. Allstars had their fifth win of the season against the Boot & Shoe. Helen Watts was nominated as Player for Allstars. Lindsey Horrocks for the Boot & Shoe.
Lancastrians verses The Royal was always destined to be a close match with strong starts from both teams, an end-to-end game. Lancastrians however managed to pull away to end the match 24-17. Players of the Match were Gill Lalonde for Royals and Bev Crow for Lancastrians.
