CHORLEY Lynx kicked off the Northern Ford Premiership season this Sunday when they entertain local rivals Swinton Lions at Victory Park, kick off 3pm.
After last season's disasters, Lynx will be looking for a vast improvement and last weekend's friendly against Workington certainly suggested that they will be a lot more competitive than before.
New coach Graham West introduced almost a complete new team in that game.
Players like Graham Tabiner, Lee Bargate and David Wadsley -- who all impressed -- have since signed for the club.
They will be joined by ex-Wigan Alliance scrum half Stuart Fisher and ex-Leigh prop forward Lee Hanson and utility back Andy Cheetham from Widnes.
One player familiar to Lynx fans will be John Paul Doherty who joined the Lions in the close season.
Lynx line up: Roberts, Doherty, Bargate, Tabiner, Wadsley, Potter, Fisher, Prescott, Talbot, Dean, Conway, Vincent, Cain, Christy. Subs (from): Ramsdale, Smith, Stuart Conway, Maden, Lacey.
