I WOULD like to thank the public of Unsworth for turning out in such bad weather conditions for the Remembrance Day service at Unsworth Pole. Thanks also go to the Rev. Canon Mallinson, the Rev. Denney, the bugler, and the police for the control of traffic during the two-minute silence.
COUNCILLOR GORDON SHARKEY,
Unsworth ward.
