BOLTON Wanderers' manager Sam Allardyce is on something of a revenge mission as he prepares his troops for the crucial meeting with Watford at the Reebok Stadium tomorrow.

Big Sam is still smarting over October's clash with the high-flying Hornets at Vicarage Road, which Bolton lost by the only goal of the match.

Allardyce said: "It was a poor refereeing decision which cost us the points that night. And I thought we had a perfectly good penalty appeal turned down. We should at least have come away with one point, if not all of them.

" It adds extra spice to tomorrow's match, though.

"It's a shame we are not going into the game on equal points, but they have slipped up recently, and it's important that we get a win.

"We created chances last week against Sheffield United, but didn't take them and got punished. We can't allow that to happen against Watford."

Bolton are forced to make changes in this vital promotion battle.

Key midfielder Per Frandsen is out serving a one-match suspension, which could mean a start for fellow Dane Carsten Fredgaard, currently on loan from Sunderland.

Anthony Barness has failed a fitness test and striker Dean Holdsworth, who has missed nine games with a groin problem, is still doubtful.

Dean Holden, Simon Charlton and club skipper Mike Whitlow, all long-term injuries, are making progress but are not ready for Division One action.

Bolton have announced half-season tickets which will cover the last 12 Division One home matches of this season.

An adult half-season ticket in the West and East Stand Upper Tier is £198 for adults, £136 for Senior Citizens and students and £74 for children.

In the Lower Tier, it's £180; £128; £54.

In the Bolton Evening News Stand, the Upper Tier is £180. £128, £54 and the Lower Tier, is £148, £118, £54.

The tickets are valid from the Sheffield Wednesday fixture on Boxing Day.

Ed Jones has been appointed as the new Communications Manager at Bolton.

Ed, 36, has been welcomed on board at the Reebok. "He will be a vital attribute for this football club to maintain firstclass relations with the media and out loyal supporters," said Allardyce.
