ROVERS boss Graeme Souness was left to rue a host of missed chances as Rovers were forced to settle for a point at Tranmere on Saturday.
"The pleasing thing for me was the way we bounced back after they equalised.
" I felt we bossed the game from that point on, we lifted ourselves and created a couple of chances, especially the Matt Jansen and Marcus Bent breakaway.
"That was really a tap in if we'd done that properly but Matt said it bounced just as he went to pass it across the goal," said Souness.
Oner thing which did infuriate Souness, however, was the amount of times his side were caught out by Tranmere's offside trap.
"That is something we'll be talking about," said Souness.
"Either Tranmere are the best in the world at it or the linesman didn't have a very good day.
"But we didn't have too many arguments with the linesman on that. I believe that we didn't do it very well."
