DISABLED athletes in Hyndburn were hitting the waves again as they took to the waters of Mercer Hall Baths.
Members of DASH, the Disabled Association for Sport in Hyndburn, celebrated 21 years of swimming at the Great Harwood centre.
Group leader Alice Horne, 93, said: "I've never missed taking them to the baths. I treat them every Monday out of my own pocket money but they're definitely worth it.
"They can all swim except one who says he's the best walker in the water when he's got his arms bands on."
