ICE stars Zoe Jones and Alan Street landed an historic double by winning British titles at the National championships.
And their coach Joy Sutcliffe became the first person ever to train two skaters to senior British titles in the same year.
The duo, who train at Blackburn's ice Arena, now have their sights firmly set on Olympic glory in Salt Lake City in 2002.
"This has really opened the door for them in terms of the Olympics and we are hoping it will bring in some much-needed sponsorship, too," said Sutcliffe, who also saw another of her skaters, Matt Wilkinson, take the Primary Men's title at the championships in Ayr.
Jones, who has been plagued by injury over the last few years, was way out in front after the women's short programme, where the skaters have a number of compulsory moves to complete, and despite a disappointing long programme, where the skaters are free to perform whichever moves they wish, the Swindon-born 20-year-old held on to top spot.
Street also won both the long and short programme in the men's contest, landing the difficult quad salchow, a four-rotation jump.
He is the only British man, and one of only a handful in the world, who can land the jump.
"Alan was outstanding. The place went wild when he landed the quad," said Sutcliffe.
