ONE of Rovers' back-up keepers could be heading out of Ewood in the next couple of days.
One of Rovers' First Division rivals have contacted the club about a possible loan move for either John Filan or Alan Kelly.
And, with Brad Friedel now firmly established as the Ewood number one, manager Graeme Souness could well sanction a temporary move to make sure his deputies remain sharp. Filan recently met both Souness and chief executive John Williams to discuss his future after being axed in favour of Friedel.
And he was given reassurances that he would be kept informed of the latest developments. "Graeme made it clear to the goalkeepers when Brad came in that both wouldn't be allowed to leave," said Williams.
"But one of them might be able to go if we were to receive an offer which was acceptable to the club.
"Both have been asked to be kept informed if anyone makes an enquiry."
