MISS Santa Claus will take the plunge for charity on Saturday with a skydive.
Plucky Jayne Parrington, 33, will jump from a plane three miles above Lancaster, strapped to a parachute instructor, in aid of the Kenneth MacMillan Memorial Fund.
Jayne, who is terrified of heights, auctioned the space on the front of her Miss Santa outfit for a special Christmas greeting.
And Whalley estate agents, Anderton Bosonnet jumped at the chance of splashing the company message across her costume by chipping in £200.
Her feat, which has raised over £500 in sponsorship, is being photographed by the Black Knights, who have organised the charity plunge.
Jayne set up the Kenneth MacMillan Memorial Fund with Clitheroe chum Theresa Robson.
Kenneth died from a rare form of cancer in June, leaving a four-week-old daughter and four-year-old son.
He was a keen singer and the fund-raising duo hope to raise cash in his memory for a recording studio at the Grand Cinema and Arts Centre, Clitheroe, and the East Lancs Hospice Appeal.
Jayne said she had been inundated with donations and good wishes, and thanked all her sponsors, particularly Anderton Bosonnet.
