I THINK Mr M Whittaker (Sports Letters, November 28) slightly misses the point when he disagreed with my remarks about priority for Burnley tickets going to away fans who see every game.
He is absolutely right when he says season ticket holders are loyal, and the lifeblood of the club. My wife and I have been season ticket holders for as long as I can remember, but we are not talking about a home match -- this is an away game.
And Mr Whittaker is spot on when he states that I go to Rovers to please myself. Yes, when the couple of hundred of us that see every game are at Watford next year for a night match, I've no doubt my critic from Trawden will be sitting at home with his slippers on listening to it on the radio.
