ACCRINGTON Stanley have agreed a four figure fee for Radcliffe Borough midfielder Simon Carden.
The Reds are close to completing a deal with the UniBond First Division club and are expected to agree personal terms with the player this week.
Stanley had a bid turned down for Carden last week but manager John Coleman had said he would keep an eye on the situation.
And the deal was resurrected after Stanley's 3-0 win over Radcliffe in the FA Umbro Trophy on Saturday.
The Reds have already raided the Stainton Park side once this season -- signing striker Paul Mullin for around £15,000.
