Boxes GH, of Palatine Mill, Meadow Street, makes the cardboard cartons with the jagged cutting edge which hold the foil. The company, part of The Boxes Group, won the award for its outstanding on-time deliveries in full service over the past 12 months. Boxes GH, which employs 140 people, was also commended for the high quality and creativeness of its cartons.
Boxes GH managing director Phil Spencer, said: "This is a significant honour for Boxes GH and reflects the major part played by everyone at the factory in providing the best possible customer service to Baco Consumer Products, with whom we have worked for more than 10 years."
Mr Spencer received a trophy from Baco's purchasing manager David Pateman, during a ceremony at Boxes' plant.
