SUPERBIKES: Burnley's Neil Hodgson and his GSE Racing team walked away with a clutch of trophies at the first MB4U.com British Superbike awards held in London.
Although Hodgson was pipped for the Rider of the Year award by Chris Walker, he had the satisfaction of collecting the Performance of the Year award for his brilliant win in round 13 at Oulton Park.
After stalling his Ducati on the grid, the reigning champion carved his way from the back of the grid to take a sensational victory.
GSE Racing were winners in the Team of the Year and Website of the Year categories.
Other award winners were: Niall Mackenzie (Lifetime Achievement); Steve Plater (Rookie of the Year); John Crockford (Privateer of the Year) and Steve Hislop (Crash of the Year).
