Nelson 2, Warrington Town 4
NELSON bowed out of the NWCL Second Division Trophy despite being in front twice in an absorbing cup tie.
Kiko Rodriguez gave the Blues an early lead in the third minute shooting low into the net following a corner. But Warrington equalised through Robbie Priest.
Nelson regained the lead on the half hour when Nigel Coates headed firmly home in a crowded goalmouth.
With Nelson down to 10 men due to an injury, Dave Tickle scored Warrington's second equaliser with a shot which crept in off the post on 60 minutes.
Manager John Bailey brought on Mark Robinson to revitalise the Blues attack, but it was Warrington who scored again through Neal Holden and Dave Pick to seal the tie.
