TELEVISION and radio presenter Liam Fogarty completed a sponsored hike from Southport to Liverpool's Pier Head to raise money for Footsteps, a Newton and Warrington-based support service for families of drug users.
Liam, a journalist for Radio Merseyside and BBC North West, was sponsored by colleagues and raised £250 by completing the eight-hour trek. He said: "I chose Footsteps because my sister works with the North West Drug Treatment Commission, which looks at the ways in which drug users are treated across the region. Part of their work involves talking with groups involved in drugs related issues."
