IN answer to Mr A Holden (Letters, December 14) who says the law to lower the age of consent will be a bonus for homosexuals, it is the lifestyle, not the bonus, that is the main concern to most people.
The law will mean that many vulnerable young men will be drawn into homosexuality.
I would be friendly with homosexuals, but, not totally at ease. The physical act of homosexuality is distasteful and unnatural to most people. I am a Christian and believe it is sin. Read St Paul's letter to Romans. Also, nature shows that only man and woman go together in a natural way.
I credit Mr Holden in helping to prevent deaths among homosexuals, but it would be better if they could lead a normal lifestyle.
R KENYON (Mr), Livesey Street, Rishton.
