AS the merry crew of the Fast Show proved over the festive period, there's nothing quite like going out on a high.
And where Messrs Whitehouse and Higson lead, I follow, for this is my final week as web producer here at the Lancashire Evening Telegraph before I wander off to pastures new.
And it's quite a high I'm leaving on. Before Christmas I mentioned I was hoping we'd hit one million page impressions in December.
But, thanks to a very, very busy Christmas week (did some of you gets PCs in your stockings?) December was a record month for traffic, with This is Lancashire getting more than 1.5 million page impressions; well, 1,508,059 to be precise.
So thanks to everyone who has logged on and helped to make it a very happy new year for all of us here at This is Lancashire. Hope you all have a good one too.
