RE the poem published Dec 14, here is a different view on children who have never been, written by myself:

Oh, how I wish I could have been,

One of the children that have never been.

To have never been thrust into this life,

Facing years of toil and strife.

So parents think of the misery caused,

If only you had thought and paused.

Born without choice one way or the other,

Brought into this world and made to suffer.

Oh how I wish I could have been,

One of the children who have never been.
