DARREN BOWMAN and David Yorke-Robinson are the two main injury doubts for Ramsbottom United ahead of tomorrow's NWCL Worthington Challenge Cup first round tie against Clitheroe at the Riverside (kick-off 3pm).
The game should have been played last Saturday, but fell victim to the icy weather. The winners will be away to Newcastle Town in the next round.
While there is good news on Bowman, he is still rated as a doubtful starter for tomorrow afternoon.
The midfield ace was the victim of a terrible, two-footed tackle by Rossendale United's Paul Lynch in the Boxing Day derby clash that the Rams won comfortably 3-0.
There were fears that he may have sustained a serious injury after he was stretchered from the field, but it now appears he has escaped with severe bruising.
Meanwhile, Yorke-Robinson's knee injury is still showing no signs of improvement and he is likely to be missing again.
Striker Mark Heyes has been released and looks set to join North West Counties Division One rivals Curzon Ashton. Second Division Castleton St Gabriels and Darwen had also been linked with Heyes.
Ramsbottom travel to Squires Gate, Blackpool on Tuesday night for a Marsden Lancashire Trophy tie (kick-off 7.45pm).
