I FELT that I had to share a positive experience my 12-year-old son had in a town centre jewellers' shop.
If was his first time in Blackburn shopping centre choosing his own Christmas gifts for myself and his Dad. He went into Peter Jackson Jewellers and, although he was a child and, therefore, did not have a lot of money to spend he was treated with kindness, patience and respect from the female staff member who served him.
Not only was his gift wrapped beautifully but he was given help to choose it.
I would like to express my thanks to the shop publicly. They made one young man happy and in this, sometimes uncaring society, this is very important.
