I READ this week of a man reporting his ex-wife to the police for drinking and driving.
How I applauded him for doing so. I thought that could be another life, or more, saved from yet another drunk driver.
The report went on to say that the ex-wife claimed he had stabbed her in the back. Again, my first thought was: better that than her getting in her car and driving back to her home with the possibility of killing an innocent person.
But, my second thought was: could I have reported someone I know so well? Could I report a member of my family?
I'd like to think the answer is a yes, and hope if ever faced with a similar situation I could "shop them" so to speak.
Could you, reader, do the same?
