THREE-DAY courses on the Lancashire Loom Breaking Riots of 1826 -- A Reaction To Change -- will be held at Alston Hall College, in Longridge, on Mondays January 22, February 12 and March 12 from 11am to 4pm.

On January 22 the course will discuss the four days of riots in April 1826 and the social and environmental conditions of the weavers; February 12 is the retribution, featuring the convictions in Lancaster Castle; March 12 features the story of how rioters transported to Botany Bay.
