THE best guffaw from TV I had was the Tommy Cooper show -- with subtitles.
I realise they are very welcome and necessary for the hard of hearing but to see Laughter, Applause and ha ha ha ha and Cooper's catchphrase zzz-zzz-zzz on the screen just creased me up.
