PENSIONERS in their late 70s recently resat a test they first took in 1932. They fared better than at school, but the study revealed that their ability to remember people's names and phone numbers dims with age. Tell me about it. Volunteers showed memory declines with age, especially in the mid 40s. I'll vouch for that. I have to wrestle for spellings that use to slip off the pen, and could I find the Christmas presents I'd bought earlier in the year? Could I heck. I'm just glad it's not only me.
