WELL done to Atherton for arranging a pre-Christmas fun break with a difference.
The town had a royal visitor in the form of Prince Charles along with Basil Fawlty, Manuel and the Minister of Silly Walks in an hilarious first for the town.
Two professional lookalikes took on the roles of the distinguished guests who mingled with shoppers, visiting businesses and cafes in the main streets.
My only problem with them was that they didn't perhaps look as much like the celebritites as they should.
But what a great idea.
