I read this week that a three-years-old had been singing "Away in a manger no crisps in his head".
A colleague thought it was Round John Virgin instead of Round yon virgin mother and child. And for those who remember "It's a Heartache" by Bonnie Tyler in the seventies, my god daughter always sang "It's a hard egg".
As for "Mull of Kintyre" I can't reveal what my dad thought it was, but the tyre fitters at ATS Leigh used to sing it! What words have you always sung wrong? Let me know.
