TIRED of the same menu every week? A new website is currently under development at BBC Online that will enable people to submit and exchange hundreds of recipes just by logging on.
The new site -- Food Nation -- will be home to a database listing a wide range of original recipes from all over the UK.
There are plans in the future to run online competitions and to get local and celebrity chefs involved as well, but at the moment we are trying to gather as many new recipes from as many different people as we can.
Anyone who would like to contribute their own recipes can send them -- along with a couple of lines explaining why each recipe should be included -- by fax (0121 432 9593), e-mail (food.nation@bbc.co.uk) or by post to Food Nation, 6th Floor Online, BBC, Pebble Mill Road, Birmingham B5 7QQ.
The aim of this project is to create an extensive selection of original recipes from across the nation that is at everyone's fingertips.
I hope that everybody gets involved and submits their personal creations for others to enjoy.
