CHRISTIAN Dailly's move to West Ham is still in the balance although he has opened talks with Hammers boss Harry Redknapp.

The deal is not yet done and dusted as it may depend on whether the Scottish international wants to uproot from the North West.

Redknapp is reportedly prepared to pay £1.7m for the 27-year-old with Hammers midfielder Marc Keller coming the other way.

But even if Dailly doesn't move, Rovers are still pressing ahead with a loan move for French international Keller with a view to a permanent deal.

And they expect to tie up that deal before Saturday's game against Sheffield Wednesday at Ewood Park.

Meanwhile, reports about Carlisle's highly-rated youngster Scott Dobie joining Rovers in a £500,000 deal are wide of the mark.

Ewood boss Graeme Souness has not made a move for the winger.
