POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an 86-year-old man was injured in a collision with a black cab in Bury town centre.
Pensioner Mr Andrew Morgan, of Woodroyd Drive, was taken to Bury General Hospital with a fractured left leg and minor injuries. He underwent surgery over the weekend at Fairfield General where his condition is currently described as "stable".
The accident happened at 2pm on Friday (Jan 5) as the taxi, being driven by Mr Zafar Iqbal (40), of Andrew Street, Bury, turned right out of The Haymarket onto Angouleme Way.
