SOCCER: Midfielder Paul Bernard, on trial from Aberdeen, performed well for Preston's reserves in their 3-2 defeat by Rotherham yesterday.
And Todorov, a Bulgarian international having his second trial spell, had a couple of decent half chances to level the scores.
Both were looking to make an impression on Deepdale boss David Moyes and the reserves' manager Kelham O'Hanlon said: "Given the conditions both Todorov and Bernard did fairly well."
