BADLY lit, dismal areas surround you if you happen to be waiting at Blackburn bus station.
There is no information or any representative official which allow you to obtain up-to-the minute information of delays, arrivals and departures, for example, of National Express coaches.
Over Christmas, I had to wait one and a half hours for the arrival of the London coach which had been delayed. It was freezing and there was nowhere one could sit sheltered from the weather, or obtain a hot drink.
In the name of progress is there someone with the power to say "Get on with it and do something to make life bearable for the travelling public."
Please get your act together, think it through and let's have some pre-war comforts back in the public area.
K CUTTING, Arley Rise, Mellor.
