PEOPLE are invited to relive the history of Pendle at a special exhibition to be held later this month.
Funded by the Millennium Commission Lottery Project, the 'Remembering Pendle' exhibition will feature numerous local organisations that held events during the Millennium year.
Exhibitors will include Pendle Moviemakers, Nelson Mela, Earby and District Local History Society, the Millennium Green in Colne, 'Pendle in Paint' and Colne Library, as well as various schools.
Organiser Michelle Barlow said: "This exhibition should be an interesting and entertaining snapshot of the many events that took part in Pendle last year which had as a common theme the area's history."
The two-day event will start on Wednesday January 24 between 1pm and 8pm and admission is 50 pence. Schools go free.
