David Moyes has hit out at Bradford City chairman Geoffrey Richmond after he revealed the Preston boss made a loan bid for transfer-listed Dan Petrescu.
"I made an enquiry for several players and Dan was one of them.
"Geoffrey Richmond put out a conversation I had with their manager.
"He shouldn't have said anything. It is not the way I do my business, talking about players from other clubs but that is the way he does it," fumed the North End boss.
"Its unfair to the player involved and the players at my club.
"As far as I know I have been knocked back."
Moyes contacted Bradford boss Jim Jeffries after the former Hearts manager transfer-listed Romanian Petrescu, Benito Carbone and Stan Collymore.
"That is the end of the matter (with Petrescu) but I have made enquiries about other players from other clubs," added Moyes.
