CHRISTIAN Dailly was due to have talks with Leicester City today after Peter Taylor made an 11th hour bid to lure the Scottish international to Filbert Street.
The 27-year-old had been mulling over a move to West Ham after meeting Hammers boss Harry Redknapp earlier this week.
But England coach Taylor came in with a counter offer last night which was accepted by Rovers.
And Dailly was heading south today to thrash out personal terms with the Foxes.
"I'm speaking to Leicester today," said Dailly.
"I got told by Blackburn yesterday that they had accepted an offer from Leicester.
"And it's only right that I go and listen to what they have to say.
"But it's going to be about what's right for me and my family and nothing else.
"I don't want to muck anyone about and the sooner my future gets sorted the better.
"But if it takes a few extra days then so be it because this is a decision which affects the next three or four years of my life."
Leicester have tabled a similar bid to the one Rovers accepted from West Ham which would see a fee of £1.7 million rising £2 million on appearances.
