PRESTON travel to the capital on Saturday (January 13) to face Wimbledon's not-so Crazy-Gang looking to notch up a few more away points.
Yet, it's not going to be easy with Preston's injury list looking more like a roll call at the local A&E department.
In addition Preston have denied that Dan Petrescu is signing despite Bradford chairman Geoffrey Richmond linking PNE with a move for their Romanian international.
American striker Brian McBride may have to pass a late fitness test following a sprained ankle picked up in the FA Cup tie.
Graham Alexander, Bjarki Gunnlaugsson and Dominic Ludden are all definitely ruled out of Saturday's match and captain Sean Gregan, Colin Murdock, Iain Anderson and Rob Edwards all have a question mark hanging over them.
On a brighter note, golden boys Jon Macken and David Healy seem to have no niggles and may be the preferred strike force to break the Wombles' reserve. Yet, Wimbledon have their own problems to contend with -- most notably Welsh international John Hartson who is expected to sign a £5 million deal with Gordon Strachan's troubled Coventry.
