SNOWBOARDING Sergeant Cindy Mellor (pictured) won three awards for her high-speed sport in an Army competition in Austria.
Sgt Meller, 27, of the Territorial Army 93 Signal Squadron, Blackburn, won every category in the women's section of the competition at Zell Am Zee, against seven other regular army and TA soldiers from the Signal Squadron.
She won two medals and best female snowboarder trophy. She said: "I first got into snowboarding when I went on a TA trip to Aviemore. You can reach very high speeds."
In civilian life, Sgt Mellor, of Darwen, is a personnel officer.
