A training team is hot stuff... and that's official.
The gas training and assessment centre of cooker and fire manufacturer, Stoves Plc in Stoney Lane, Whiston, has been officially recognised by the Building Engineering Services division of the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) for its outstanding achievement.
The Outstanding Achievement Gold Award was presented to centre co-ordinator, Frank Gethin at a special awards ceremony held at the Registered Gas Assessors and Trainers Association (ReGATA) conference.
The award recognises the centre's accuracy of assessment procedures and the quality of administration.
Frank Gethin, said: "We were very surprised but delighted to receive the award. We are a relatively small gas training and assessment centre. The size of our operation allows us to bend to the customers' needs. This, I feel, is what sets us apart from the larger competition."
