THERE were mixed fortunes for the St Helens McDonald's JOL representative teams with the under 16s going down 5-1 to West Derby, but the under 12s defeating Wigan 5-0.
In league action, the under 14s section produced a seven-goal thriller between Prescot Cables and St Annes Rovers with home advantage just giving the former the edge at 4-3.
